COMMON PROBLEMS IN THE CLASSROOM

INTERACTION IN THE CLASSROOM

A common problem for teachers is dealing with a passive class, where students are unresponsive and avoid interaction with the teacher and with their classmates. This is especially true when a teacher seeks interaction in a teacher-class dialog, such as asking questions to the class as a whole, expecting at least one student to respond. This can be a frustrating experience for both parties. Obviously, there will be times when no student can answer a teacher's question, but often students do not answer even if they understand the question, know the answer, and are able to produce the answer. Furthermore, students can often be very reluctant to give feedback or ask the teacher a question in front of the class. it is hard for me to get students responding to the teacher's question and participating in class discussions. so the teachers receive little oral feedback.

I was born in a dark and cold night in january 9 th in Rivera, Huila. I am the second child in my family. I have a sister who is older and a brother who is younger. I love them so much, they are very sweet to me, they would do anything for me. after my dad got retired my parents decided to move to Paicol. well, they always had a good reason it is a peaceful and pretty town.

my name is Carolina Vargas Guzman, I consider myself as an outgoing person, responsible and lovely. I started school when I was 6 years old. I went to kindergarden through fifth grade at Andres pastrana school in Rivera. while I was 7 years I won an award for academic excellence. as soon as I finished my primary school, after I started my secondary school at Colegio Cooperativo de Paicol. where I also won an award for honor roll and for perfect attendance. at the school I was very good for some subjects like math, chemistry and social studies, I was also very sociable so, that really help to reinforce my communication abilities with others.

as soon as I finished the school I was thinking about what to study, I never thought about being a teacher well, you never know what is going to happen in your life, so I decided to study foreign languages because I consider English as a good point to start for traveling around the world. so far, I have had many good experiences studying english, which have contributed to my personal and professional growing.

In this moment I am taking the last assignment at the university in order to get my bachelor degree. I just want to focus teaching for while and then I would like to continue with my expectations.
